In the Three Kingdoms period, after the death of Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of Shu Han, the Shu general Wei Yan made trouble in the army because of his disagreement with the Changshi Yang Yi, and almost caused a major disaster. Yang Yi wrote several times, hoping that Wei Yan would change his mind, put aside his prejudices, and work together for Shu, but unfortunately, Wei Yan remained obstinate, which ultimately led to the defeat and death of his army.
