Long ago, in a remote village, there lived an honest old man named Honesty. Old Honesty was known for his honesty and integrity, and he lived his whole life with his word matching his deeds. One day, a fortune teller came to the village and claimed that he could predict people's destinies. Many villagers went to have their fortunes told, and Old Honesty also went out of curiosity. The fortune teller looked at his hands and said to Old Honesty: "Old man, I see that you have a kind face and a good heart, but your destiny is to experience a calamity." Old Honesty listened without panic and calmly asked: "Sir, when will my calamity come?" The fortune teller mysteriously said: "Tonight, there will be a robber robbing your house, you must be careful." Old Honesty listened and although slightly nervous, he remained calm, knowing that he had lived an honest life and had nothing to fear. That night, a robber really snuck into Old Honesty's house. The robber held a knife and threatened to steal his valuables. The old man was not panicked; instead, he calmly told the robber, "I have no valuables, only my conscience." The robber was awe-struck by the old man's honesty and ended up putting down his knife and leaving the house. The next day, the villagers heard the news and admired Old Honesty's integrity. The story spread through the entire village and to the neighbouring villages, where people praised Old Honesty's honesty, integrity and kindness, calling him a respectable man.
