During the Northern and Southern Dynasties, even after the reforms of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty, internal conflicts persisted. One day, a sudden storm hit Luoyang City, with fierce winds, heavy rain, and deafening thunder. The people were terrified, and the entire city fell into chaos. In the palace, a young maid named Cui'er, known for her timidity, was overwhelmed by the disaster. She clutched her jade pendant, trembling with fear, unsure of what to do. She ran around, desperately seeking shelter, but everywhere was crowded. In despair, she fell to the ground, tears streaming down her face, whispering her family's names and praying for divine protection. Then, an experienced court lady approached, gently lifting Cui'er, comforting her, and leading her to a relatively safe place to escape the storm. With the court lady's help, Cui'er gradually calmed down, realizing that even in the face of great adversity, maintaining composure is crucial to finding a solution.
