Origin Story
In the Spring and Autumn Period, when Duke Mu of Qin passed away, over a hundred people were buried with him, including three brothers of the Ziche family who had died for their country. The people sympathized with their fate and felt apprehensive and uneasy; many offered to sacrifice themselves, expressing their reverence for the loyal subjects and their fear of tyranny. This story reflects the then-indifference to human life and the people's fear of the rulers. The death of Duke Mu of Qin not only took the lives of three loyal ministers but also the peace of mind of the people, leaving behind endless apprehension and unease.
