Origin Story
春秋时期，吴王阖闾伐楚，伍子胥献计，要乘楚国军队疲惫不堪之际，渡河偷袭楚国都城。孙武认为此计甚为冒险，但伍子胥坚持己见，最终导致吴军大败。孙武事后指出，此举如同‘暴虎冯河’，有勇无谋，最终自食其果。
During the Spring and Autumn period, Wu Wang Helü attacked Chu. Wu Zixu offered a plan to cross the river and secretly attack the Chu capital while the Chu army was exhausted. Sun Wu believed this plan was very risky, but Wu Zixu insisted on his opinion. This ultimately led to a major defeat for the Wu army. Afterward, Sun Wu pointed out that this action was like "bào hǔ féng hé" – courage without wisdom, ultimately leading to self-destruction.
