Origin Story
从前，有个财主名叫张三，他攒下三百两银子，怕别人偷，便偷偷地埋在院子里，并在上面写了块牌子：“此地无银三百两”。邻居王二发现了，偷偷地把银子挖走了，并在牌子上加了一句：“隔壁王二不曾偷”。张三看到后，更加坐立不安，因为此地无银三百两的事实已暴露无遗。这个故事告诉我们，掩盖事实往往会适得其反。
Once upon a time, there was a wealthy man named Zhang San who saved 300 taels of silver. Afraid of thieves, he secretly buried it in his yard and put up a sign that said, "There is no silver here, 300 taels." His neighbor Wang Er discovered it, secretly dug up the silver, and added to the sign: "Wang Er next door didn't steal it." Zhang San was even more uneasy when he saw this, because the fact that there was no silver here had been exposed. This story teaches us that covering up facts often backfires.
