从前，有个富家子弟名叫张郎，从小娇生惯养，养成了骄横跋扈的性格。一次，他骑马在街上横冲直撞，撞倒了一个卖菜的老妇人，老妇人当场昏死过去。张郎不但不救人，反而辱骂老妇人，还扬长而去。围观的人纷纷指责张郎的恶行，但他却置若罔闻，态度傲慢无礼。最后，官府介入调查，张郎被判刑入狱。在狱中，张郎依旧死不悔改，甚至威胁狱卒。最终，他因病死在狱中，带着无尽的悔恨离开了人世。他的故事成为后人警醒的例子，告诫世人要知错就改，切勿一错再错，死不悔改。
Once upon a time, there was a rich young man named Zhang Lang who was spoiled since childhood and developed an arrogant and overbearing personality. One day, he rode his horse recklessly on the street and knocked down an old woman selling vegetables, who immediately fainted. Zhang Lang not only failed to help her, but also insulted her and rode away. Bystanders condemned Zhang Lang's evil deeds, but he ignored them and remained arrogant and impolite. Finally, the government intervened and Zhang Lang was sentenced to prison. Even in prison, Zhang Lang remained unrepentant, even threatening the prison guards. Eventually, he died of illness in prison and left this world with endless regret. His story became a warning for future generations, a lesson to know one's mistakes and correct them, and not to make repeated mistakes and remain unrepentant.
