The villains always tried to oppress the villagers and steal their belongings. They colluded with each other, forming a strong force that caused great suffering to the villagers. This group of villains were often called "a pack of foxes and dogs". Their leader was a cunning fox spirit who always used various means to manipulate his subordinates, making them work for him.
