Origin Story
Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Xiaoming who was very shy. One day, his teacher asked him to read aloud in class. Xiaoming took his book, walked to the podium, and blushed when he saw so many eyes staring at him. He opened his mouth to begin reading, but the words wouldn't come out; he only stammered. He tried hard to finish reading, but the more anxious he became, the more unclearly he spoke. The sentences were broken and halting, like a bird with a stuck wing, and he was so upset that he almost cried. The students couldn't help but laugh at Xiaoming's sight. After class, the teacher encouraged Xiaoming not to be afraid and to practice reading more, so he would speak more fluently in the future. Xiaoming listened to his teacher's advice, practiced diligently, and slowly his reading became more fluent; his stammering disappeared.
