话说汉光武帝刘秀，在与公孙述的战争中，身边有两个得力的大将，一个是嚣子，另一个是公孙述。刘秀虽然十分器重他们，但同时又十分担忧他们各自的势力过大，会影响到他的统治。他召集众将商议军情，大臣们纷纷建议，先削弱这两个人的势力，以稳固自己的统治。这时，一个谋士站出来说：“陛下，不必担心。我们完全可以先把这两个人的势力置之度外，集中力量对付其他敌人，先集中力量打赢这场战争再说。”刘秀听后，十分赞赏这位谋士的建议。果然，在接下来的战争中，刘秀集中兵力，大败了其他敌人。后来，在统一全国之后，他又采取措施妥善处理了嚣子与公孙述的问题，并没有让他们对自己的统治造成威胁。这个故事说明，在处理问题时，要根据实际情况，灵活运用策略，有时可以暂时将一些次要问题放在一边，优先解决主要矛盾。

Sometimes, we can temporarily put aside some secondary problems and prioritize the resolution of the main contradiction.
