Origin Story

During the Three Kingdoms period in China, after Liu Bei's victory in the Battle of Red Cliffs, his power grew rapidly, but he faced the challenge of sustaining and expanding this growth. At that time, China was divided into three parts: Cao Cao controlled the north, Sun Quan ruled the east, and Liu Bei had only recently established a foothold in Jingzhou. Although Liu Bei harbored great ambitions and dreamed of unifying China, he lacked the strength to compete with Cao Cao and Sun Quan. He traveled extensively, seeking opportunities, but repeatedly failed. Zhuge Liang, his advisor, observed this and advised Liu Bei: "My Lord, the current situation is complex, and we must proceed cautiously. Any rash action would only lead us into trouble. We must accumulate our strength and wait for the right moment before we can achieve great things." After careful consideration, Liu Bei followed Zhuge Liang's advice. He prioritized the development of agriculture and stability of the populace, building up his power. After several years of hard work, the power of Shu Han gradually grew, and finally, under Zhuge Liang's guidance, Liu Bei achieved a three-way division of China and created his own glory.
