During the Qing Dynasty, there was a greedy county magistrate named Li. He used his position to extort money from the people. He often falsified accounts, embezzled public funds, and enriched himself. He also condoned his subordinates' corrupt practices, allowing them to share the spoils. The people complained, but Li remained unmoved. One day, an upright censor visited the county and discovered Li's misdeeds. He reported Li to the court, and Li was eventually investigated and punished.
