Explanation

衣锦还乡,字面意思是穿着锦绣衣服回到家乡。古代,人们常以此来形容做官后衣锦荣归,回到家乡炫耀一番。现今,则多指事业有成,衣锦还乡,衣锦还乡也常用来形容一个人在外面打拼获得成功之后回到家乡,衣锦还乡是一种荣耀和骄傲的体现,也是对家乡的一种回报。
