话说古代一位隐士,名叫李先生。他一生淡泊名利,对荣华富贵毫不在意。有一天,县令大人亲自登门拜访,想请李先生出山做官,许诺给他高官厚禄,丰衣足食。李先生听后,只是淡淡一笑,说道:“这些东西,对我来说如同破烂鞋子一般,毫无吸引力。”说完,便转身离去。县令大人十分无奈,只得悻悻而归。李先生的故事,后来便成了人们茶余饭后的谈资,许多人都称赞他高风亮节,视名利如敝屣。
