Origin Story
话说唐朝时期，有一位名叫李白的诗人，他常常写出许多长篇大论的诗歌，其作品气势磅礴，充满浪漫主义情怀，但有时也会因为篇幅过长而显得冗余。有一次，他为一位权贵写了一首长诗，歌颂其功绩。这首诗洋洋洒洒，写满了十几张纸，可谓连篇累牍。权贵读完后，虽然对诗歌的才华赞赏有加，但也略感冗长，难以完全把握其精髓。后来，李白也意识到这一点，开始注重诗歌的精炼，力求做到言简意赅。
It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai, who often wrote long poems full of romanticism and great momentum. However, sometimes his works were lengthy and verbose. Once, he wrote a long poem for a nobleman to celebrate his achievements. This poem spanned over ten pages of paper, truly a voluminous work. While the nobleman admired Li Bai’s talent, he found the poem a bit lengthy and difficult to grasp entirely. Later, Li Bai realized this flaw and began focusing on making his poems more concise and impactful, aiming for conciseness and clarity.
