In the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Bai who, despite his talent, was repeatedly sidelined by powerful figures. Once, he participated in a court examination, and although well-prepared, he failed because he offended the chief examiner. Li Bai was filled with resentment, but to protect his family, he chose to remain silent and endure the humiliation. He channeled his dissatisfaction into poetry, drowning his sorrows in alcohol to express his frustrations. Years later, Li Bai finally gained recognition from Emperor Xuanzong and became a court scholar. He did not complain about his past experiences, instead cherishing his hard-earned opportunity and creating many timeless poems. Li Bai's forbearance was not weakness, but rather a way of accumulating strength for a greater goal, ultimately achieving the glory of a great poet.
