从前,有一个农民,辛苦了一年,眼看就要丰收了,可是突然下了一场大雪,把他的庄稼都压坏了。更糟糕的是,大雪过后,一场大病又夺走了他年迈母亲的生命。原本就因为庄稼歉收而担忧的农民,此时更是悲痛欲绝,感觉真是雪上加霜。
Once upon a time, there was a farmer who had worked hard for a year and was about to harvest. But suddenly, a heavy snowfall ruined his crops. Even worse, after the snowfall, a serious illness took the life of his elderly mother. The farmer, who was already worried about the poor harvest, was now heartbroken and felt that it was truly adding insult to injury.
