In the Tang Dynasty, there were two young talents, Li Bai and Du Fu, one skilled in poetry, the other in calligraphy. Both were gifted and ambitious. One day, they met in Chang'an and talked about their aspirations. Li Bai excitedly said, "I want to reach the sky and embrace the moon, dive into the five oceans and catch turtles, and return laughing and singing!" Du Fu pondered for a moment, and then said loudly, "I will write for the people, depict the scene of the prosperous age, and leave immortal poems!" They agreed to use their talents to benefit the people and leave their names in history. After that, Li Bai devoted himself to poetry creation, traveling through famous mountains and rivers, and expressing his enthusiasm; Du Fu dedicated himself to poetry and calligraphy creation, enduring hardships, and persevering. Although their personalities and creative styles were different, they both cherished the ambition of "not being willing to be left behind," making huge contributions to the cultural development of the Tang Dynasty. They proved with their actions that as long as they persevere and work hard, they can achieve brilliant achievements in their respective fields. Even in the face of failure and setbacks, they never gave up their ideals and never gave up, and eventually their poems and calligraphy were passed down through the ages, becoming precious treasures of Chinese culture.
