During the Spring and Autumn period, King Helü of Wu invited Sun Wu to teach him how to lead his army. Sun Wu first used palace women for experiments. He trained 180 palace women, and only a few could fully obey orders, which made him pay more attention to training. Later, Sun Wu led the Wu army to attack the Chu state. The Wu army was outnumbered, but with well-trained soldiers, strict discipline, and excellent tactics, it defeated the Chu army, achieving a glorious victory.
