It is said that Li Bai, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, was known for his unrestrained and free-spirited nature, but he also experienced much sorrow and separation in his life. Once, upon returning from a long journey, he passed by a small river near his hometown, and saw only ruins where he and his friends once shared wine and laughter. He was deeply saddened by this sight. He sat alone by the river, his brow furrowed in worry, as if the whole world was dyed with a hint of sadness. As the sun set, he softly recited his own poems, every line revealing his longing for old friends and his homeland. The gentle river breeze ruffled his hair but could not blow away the sorrow in his heart. He silently gazed into the distance until nightfall, then slowly stood up and left this place, heavy-hearted and sorrowful.
