Long ago, in a remote mountain village, lived a young man named Li Shan. He was kind-hearted and always willing to help others. The villagers were very poor and often suffered from natural disasters and misfortunes. One day, a great flood struck the village, many houses were destroyed, and the people were displaced and suffered from hunger and cold. Li Shan saw this and was deeply moved. Without hesitation, he organized the villagers for self-rescue. He led the villagers in saving grain, setting up tents, and cleaning up mud. He also ran around to seek help from the outside world and raise relief supplies. Under his leadership, the villagers were united and overcame many difficulties, and finally rebuilt their homes. Li Shan's deeds moved countless people, and he was honored as a "hero who helped the weak and the needy".
