Once, there was a magnificent palace, resplendent and dazzling. However, as time went by and wars ravaged it, the palace gradually lost its former glory, becoming dim and lusterless. The walls were mottled, and the carved beams and painted pillars lost their color. The once vibrant scene was gone, leaving only broken walls and ruins, telling tales of the passage of time. The palace, once bustling with activity, the busy figures of court ladies and eunuchs, the laughter and conversations of kings and ministers, all became a thing of the past, leaving only a dim and lifeless scene, causing sighs of regret.
