The market was bustling with activity, the cries of vendors rising and falling. A dazzling array of goods attracted customers from all directions. In front of Lao Zhang's candied haws stall, it was even more crowded, filled with customers who came to buy. His candied haws were sweet and sour, with bright colors that made people drool.
