很久以前，在四川的深山里，住着一位老农。他的家附近有一条小河，河边长满了各种各样的植物。有一天，老农去河边散步，突然看到一只从未见过的鸟儿落在河边的树枝上。这只鸟儿羽毛鲜艳，叫声清脆悦耳。老农从未见过这种鸟儿，他感到很惊讶，心想：这世间竟然还有如此美丽的鸟儿！他赶紧跑回家，把这个消息告诉了他的家人。家人也觉得很稀奇，他们纷纷跑去看这只鸟儿。消息很快传遍了整个村庄，村民们都来看这只鸟儿。从此以后，这只鸟儿成了村里人茶余饭后谈论的话题。
