Origin Story
从前，有个贪财的和尚，在寺庙里藏匿了价值连城的宝贝。有一天，一位云游四方的老僧来到寺庙，一眼就识破了和尚的秘密。和尚表面上装作若无其事，但内心深处却忐忑不安。晚上，他偷偷地将宝贝转移到山洞中，却不小心弄出了响声，惊动了山上的野兽，野兽的叫声又惊动了村民。和尚的行为，就如同“此地无银三百两”一般，不打自招，最终被村民抓获，宝贝也被追回。
Once upon a time, there was a greedy monk who hid invaluable treasures in the temple. One day, a traveling monk came to the temple and immediately saw through the monk’s secret. The greedy monk pretended that nothing was wrong, but deep down, he was anxious. At night, he secretly moved the treasures to a cave, but accidentally made a noise. The noise startled the wild animals in the mountains, and the animals' calls alarmed the villagers. His actions, like "There's no silver here," gave himself away, and he was finally caught by the villagers, and the treasures were recovered.
Usage
主要用于形容一个人做了坏事后，不自觉地暴露了真相，或者说他的言行举止已经暴露了他的意图。
Mainly used to describe someone who, after doing something bad, unconsciously reveals the truth, or whose words and actions have already exposed their intentions.
