东汉时期,名臣张堪在蜀郡任职期间,勤政爱民,兴修水利,发展农业,使蜀郡百姓安居乐业,丰衣足食。每逢节日,张堪都会与百姓同乐,欢声笑语不断。有一次,张堪巡视田间,看到麦穗饱满,农民脸上洋溢着幸福的笑容,百姓们纷纷向他表达感激之情,场面热闹非凡,张堪看着这一切,心中充满了喜悦,快乐到难以言表,简直乐不可支。百姓们也为有这样一位好官而感到无比的幸福。张堪的政绩受到了朝廷的赞扬,他的故事也流传至今,成为了后世官员的楷模。
During the Eastern Han Dynasty, the famous statesman Zhang Kan served in Shu prefecture. He diligently served the people, developed irrigation projects, promoted agriculture, and ensured the safety and well-being of his subjects. Every festival, Zhang Kan would celebrate with the people, filled with laughter and joy. Once, while inspecting the fields, he saw that the wheat was full and the farmers’ faces beamed with happiness. They expressed their gratitude in many ways. The atmosphere was incredibly lively. Zhang Kan witnessed this and his heart filled with boundless joy, so immense he could hardly contain it—he was utterly overjoyed. The people felt supremely happy to have such an official. Zhang Kan’s achievements were praised by the court, and his story is still told today, serving as a model for officials.
